Slava Fadeyev

Yaroslav (Slava) Fadeyev was born in St. Petersburg, Russia and trained at the famous Vaganova Choreography Academy. Other graduates of this Academy include: Balanchine, Baryshnikov, Nureyev, Vishneva, and many others. He was a soloist at the prestigious Mariinsky (Kirov) Ballet. Additionally, Slava danced with Hartford Ballet, New York Metropolitan Opera and other companies. He has performed internationally on some of the greatest stages in the world. As a teacher, Slava is a meticulous professional, skilled in teaching Classical Ballet, pas de deux, character dance and coaching for performances and competitions. In addition to teaching, Mr. Fadeyev is the Artistic Director and Founder of FADEYEV BALLET, a classical academy of dance. He is also the owner of RUSSIA BALLET TRAVEL, which offers ballet focused tours to St. Petersburg and Moscow.

Carol Peretz

Carol was trained in the Cecchetti Technique, Balanchine style, Vaganova Method, and RAD. She is a Bolshoi Certified Teacher. When she was only 16 years old, Carol was awarded a Casey Grant to choreograph a full length ballet which was performed by members of the Joffrey Ballet. After studying at the Parson School of Design, Carol took time off from dancing to concentrate on a successful career in fashion design. Currently, she is considered one of the top dress designers in the U.S. Returning to teach classical ballet as an adult, gives Carol a unique mature prospective no matter what age her students are.

Lancelot Theobold

Lancelot, a former professional football player, studied dance at Steps on Broadway, the Broadway Dance Center and Alvin Ailey. He has performed on Broadway and at the Metropolitan Opera, as well as in movies and television. Besides choreographing for the Knick’s City Dancers, Lancelot is also executive producer and actor.
